I started taking yoga classes five years ago through a club at my university. I immediately saw amazing results in my stress levels and associated headaches. I excelled right away coming from a dance background and having a decent level of flexibility. Soon though I developed new pains in other areas of my body. Things like lower back pain and upper vertebrae and neck soreness. I bounced around between different instructors and different studios finding some that were very informative and some that left me in pain and confused.

One day I found a power instructor named Jesse Enright teaching Power Yoga Therapy which has now transformed into Smart Yoga. Ever since I have consistently enrolled in his eight week progressive courses which have provided a deep knowledge of the body and yoga to set up my own personal practice.

My days of ibuprofen popping are over. I no longer experience sciatica pains, and rarely get headaches. (Bonus: Jesse has taught me the key yoga poses and postural exercises to use if a headache does sneak in there.)

I feel great in my body and have experienced numerous changes since I have incorporated yoga into my daily lifestyle. I have become more conscious within my body and my life.
